About Jaime’s Tone

Since 2019 and the founding of Jaime’s Tone by Jacques M. a composer, songwriter and arranger from Paris, France, Jaime’s Tone has released a total of six albums. The latest one is “A New Life”, a 3-song EP, was released in November 2025. It succeeds the “Best of Jaime’s Tone”, that was released in March of 2025.
This is the first time that Jaime’s Tone is releasing a 3-song EP. “Many artists now consider that albums and EPs are better suited to well-known artists and prefer to issue singles more often” stated Jacques M., the artist behind Jaime’s Tone. “I have decided to pursue a more original approach, and split my next EP in two separate releases: a first one with three songs, and then another EP with four songs. Considering the type of music that I write, I believe that it makes more sense than releasing singles one by one”, added Jacques.
This new EP adopts an approach that is closer to progressive rock, although the pop-rock and hard rock elements are still there, reminiscing the previous releases. Lyrics raise issues related to our day-to-day lives.
This is also the first time that Jacques M. takes an active role as producer, and mixing/mastering engineer. “I am very grateful to the mixing and mastering engineers who worked on my previous releases”, said Jacques, “but this time I really wanted the titles to sound as close as possible to what I had in mind when I put them together”.
“A New Life” includes 3 songs entitled “A New Life”, “Today and Tomorrow”, and the instrumental “Celebration”. A music video of the single “A New Life” accompanies the album.
The Jaime’s Tone musical studio project was initiated in 2019 by Jacques M., a composer, songwriter and arranger from Paris, France. Jacques is attracted to progressive rock, hard rock, power metal and progressive metal, and also listens to classical music. He is particularly fond of such bands as Ayreon, Delain, The Neal Morse Band, Threshold, as well as Redemption, Kansas, Symphony X, and Alter Bridge.
